Theatrical Muse 341, What makes you cry?
The Master doesn’t cry. He’d be the first to tell you he ain’t the type. He’s an actor, stress doesn’t show on him. (He’s also got the attention span of a kid, sometimes, but I wonder how often he fakes that.)
We had pets in the dimension I come from and it’s the animals that live in packs that yelp when they’re hurt. I guess it alerts the rest of the gang. I wonder if beasts that live alone cry out when they’re in pain? Weeping is a strange thing, really. Advertising being hurt brings the predators, so how did a thing like that ever get started?
Sometimes I’m just as glad that my mask is part of the livery.
The Master can let people know when he’s upset, anyway; (maybe whether he likes it or not.) I remember a day when the whole world had a soundtrack that mourned in a minor key while the skies wept snow …
But that isn’t what they’re asking about, is it?
