Thursday 18th

I went with Erynne to Willy's bar. We were lucky enough to catch Astraeia alone - and it was her, "our" Astraeia, the original!

I was so glad to see her and to get that talisman that I forget to ask about Willy, but I'm sure she'd have told us if there'd been anything wrong.

I'd stopped off to get some candy and to see if old Mrs Hanley still let rooms. (I'd heard she was a very understanding landlady. She may have been too understanding, in this dimension. I was told she'd become a vamp's bride a couple of years back.)

It's a pity that I didn't hurry.

Astraeia
told Erynne that she'd made a wish to a colleague to produce this reality. Erynne didn't think to ask the exact wording so I'm sorry I wasn't there when the subject came up.

Wishes to demons often carry a sting (try singing some strange words from a scroll and wishing for "A Happy Ending" and you may find out what I mean.)

I hope that Astraeia will be OK - she's a very powerful demon, of course -but that doesn't always help.

Marrying strangers is conventional in your home
dimension? Yes, I'm starting to think we need
to talk too..though as far as that invocation
goes, we're set. I think I could recite those
lines in my sleep by now! *laughs*

*shyly* I was looking at this ...do you think you
could copy it?

*Answers absently, while sitting looking at the catalog* Marrying a stranger was conventional in most times and places in your dimension, except maybe for the working classes.

<a href= "http://www.spiegel.com/shop/style.asp?style_id=77057"">you mean this one?</a>

No problem, it'll even save on energy. Everyone'll be looking at you and I'll hardly need lookaway spells or an illusion....

But you did say we could go dancin'<i> later?</i> I had some plans for what we'd do first, and that's available already .... <a href= "http://www.mailameal.com/cgi-shl/kitchen-5.pl/?food=98&taste=Chinese_Dinner_Feast">so first....</a>

*looks down at herself, delighted*
Ohh...thank you! *hugs him*
Sure. This is our night, I don't mean to
be running right over you. Later's fine.
