A Year and A Day,

Time moves differently between the dimensions. There are some who say that the worse a Hell dimension is, the faster the time races. Time goes much more quickly in Sunnydale than in my home dimension.

One good point of keeping a journal like this is that it helps me keep track of actual, elapsed time, even across several dimensions, if needs be.

It was only when I was checking my Mechanical Minion that I realised what the date is. Modern humans make a lot of their one-year anniversaries. In their old stories, though, the magic anniversary is often a year and a day. The equivalent of an earth-year and a day has significance to my people, too.

It is a year and a day since I came to Sunnydale and started this journal, and I never guessed that I'd miss this place if I ever got the chance to go home. I certainly never guessed that any human here would miss me

I wonder ... oh well, but I do wonder what the next year will bring.
