Well, I finally got the computer-charms that were liberated from the Initiative base installed onto the computer. They crashed the whole thing! Maybe the soldier-boys booby-trapped them? (I'm told I'll have to do some reinstalling too, can't imagine how that will work out. Machines are not my skill.) Anyway, if Live-Journal doesn't eat this entry I guess I finally started.

I just hope the Crew are still speaking to me, because I didn't get into whatever they were planning with Cole and Phoebe. Makes sense not to take on The Source anyway, but I hope they'll understand, we've all got our limits and we've all got our rules -

Good! I can't quite believe it - I'm welcoming you into my own journal! (You can see why I can't get a lot of other stuff up until I get the other charm working. "Stayin uninvolved" wasn't exactly what the Motlrey Crew have been doing.)

Understood. I've been wondering if we ought to set up some sort of central meeting place for the Motley Crew ... would make coordinating things a lot easier. Pros and cons, anyone?

Well, a mailing list would be very private ... finding a home for it could be problematic, but there's always something like Yahoo Groups. The big question could be how willing people are to sign up for Yet More E-mail.

I don't know enough about LJ communities to make a case for them, pro or con. If it could be kept members-only (as I seem to recall is possible) then that would solve the privacy issue.
