I had a long discussion with Erynne and by the end of it
one worry was over. It was a real worry, too. Things are so
much better the way they are.

Later, I started to wonder about something. Erynne had always
spoken as though she knew a lot about me. As a Talespinner of
her Clan she could have known a certain amount just from
whatever the historians of Icewind had recorded.

( So what do I tell her about the gigs? )

Icewind wasn't a real bad gig anyway. I don't think she
has any real idea of what a bad one is like - or just how ugly it can get and how much an operative may have to be hated just to do the job right. Or how many enemies...

This time we need to talk, but maybe she really needs to see what happens ...

that's probably not an option here, anyway.
