That's ... cold. In a flaming burn-witch-burn sort of way. Makes you wonder, though, who'd have the balls to curse a jazz demon? I mean, it is, isn't - a curse on a musician that he has to marry the ...woman?... who has the engagement present? Without even being the one to give it to her?
Comments on story content aside (except that it was a very good story) - I think it's well-written, in character and proper tone. Not being in the fanon fandom, I have to ask, what immunity was cancelled for Dryell? Was he actually tortured when "de-briefed"?
As a side-note: over here, Dryell is the name of a commercial home 'dry-cleaning' kit. {snerk}
