New worries
Nov. 28th, 2003 09:10 amThe Little Bard and I have a close mental bond - sometimes I think she forgets how close.
She'd been lost somewhere out there for far too long, and when she did come back it was quite a shock. Some kind of spell, or curse or something, has trapped her in a fragile, mortal, human body.
She got me to cast the mojo so she could find out how I felt about it, too. We had quite a discussion.
Afterwards I'd said that I'd go talk to The Watcher about it all. I hope I can get a word with Demetria, too. It's maybe just a glitch in releasing the souls.
(Whether error or some kind of curse,
wish I was sure we could make it reverse.)
Erynne was to talk to Grant and Helen. The trouble was, by the time we were ready to go do it, they weren't in William Tallisker House.
She said she was going out to track them down - and she isn't used to that body! It has inbuilt mojo, inherited, and not the lycanthrope kind. She's also almost twice her original mass, and not used to that either!
She wasn't in a mood to argue, so I didn't. I watched her pack a silver-dipped knife and a trank gun before she set out, (with no practice using either, in that body!) Then she headed down to Sunnydale. I gave her a two-minute start and smoked out after her.
