First Moon of july
Jul. 4th, 2004 03:04 amFirewalled against all who might disapprove, or bring harm for any reason.
This has been quite a week. We had a great party, earlier, but now the Hunters Moon is up, and Erynne is out with the Pack. It's never easy to sleep then. I suppose she's safer in Sunnydale than she would be in some other places, none of them seem to have much of a down on were-wolves, but waiting in the wings just isn't my style.
I must remember to suggest scheduling some of those Dojo workouts earlier in the day. Maybe in the morning. The weres can only change after dark. Erynne has a point, I could be in trouble if I had to fight physically - but I'm pretty damn sure that even the Diran don't usually start beginners off against were-wolves! It's enough to make anyone smoke out, even if it wasn'tan instinct, a reflex or whatever.
I don't know how I'm supposed to feel about my in-laws anyway, but that combat stuff is not helping. How much can weres take, anyway? Back when I thought they were were immortal I thought Warfield would be near impossible to take down, and he burned straight away. There's so much that could go wrong! Physical violence is dangerous!
My gigs ain't about violence - dance fights aren't the same. Fighting is unreliable, it's unpredictable I'm going to end up looking a fool in front of Erynne, or someone will get hurt or something. I ought to make sure the Minions are trained, too, but I can't do it! I can't fight physically myself, not really, so... I can't sleep, either, not tonight.
We didn't even unwrap the other package. If I do eat them I'll be too hyped up to sleep. Helen said there's a mad vampire out there that tried to attack her, and there's the human army, and maybe the enemy. I'll be glad when Erynne gets back.

The Inn is kind of noisy, tonight. I can't sleep.
