This ain’t my kind of topic,
I ain’t no diplomat.
I don’t negotiate too much.
That ain’t where Gigs are at.

I guess the steps are,

1, know what you want.
2, If you decide to raise the ante, be sure they know which parts of the deal are negotiable.
3, know what they want and what they hope to get out of it – and at least try to take account of that…
4, Know your rights - and when to be prepared to cut your losses and get out rather than get landed with something that you’ve got a right to, but you do not want.
Best if you can force them to do what you want, anyway.


Hell, I’m into truth, I ain’t no negotiator. I should have put, “Make sure you understand each other. Get the communications straight, first.” That can be a real problem in inter-dimensional negotiations, I could tell you stories ….
