Once I'd met some friends people I know and we'd exchanged pleasantries we settled down to tale-spinning.

One story that I wanted to hear was what had happened when they killed The Lamia. Erynne and me had troubles of our own, by then.

After I heard what Grant, Spike and Buffy had done I found I had a little nonsense song running through my mind. It stayed with me for quite a while.

Would you kill it in a lair?
We'd have killed it anywhere,
Would you chop it's head right off?
With some types that's not enough,
So we lit a funeral pyre,
and ate hot-dogs round the fire!

I'll have to head back soon, I'll be needed in my own dimension. I was hoping to see the Diran first - I owe her a bonus. I'd always heard her kind are as treacherous and unreliable as Zranthians, but it looks to me as though she tackled an impossible job quite well.
