Do you consider yourself to be adventurous?

Something just brought this question into my mind - well, adventure is someone else having a bad time in dramatic circumstances - that's entertainment, but only when it happens to other people!

Where I come from, we have a professional label for adventurous cross-dimensional operatives. We call them corpses. I run my gigs with all due care for self-preservation - and hey, I'm in my third millenium. I guess I'm doing something right.

Adventure may sometimes appeal,
To the types who don't know danger's real,
What they do, what they sing and they feel
That's entertainment,

My gigs can be dangerous, of course,
Though the drama may sometimes be false,
and the fights can be more like a walz,
That's entertainment,

The world is a stage
and that can work out fine,
I bring the fun in -
and the fun's mostly mine,
Just join in the chorus line,
For a a song, or a rhumba
or maybe a hot number.

There's a risk, if it goes on too long,
so at midnight, you'll find that I'm gone,
With an echo that's left of my song,
adventure may do, but only for you,
I see my gigs through - for entertainment.
