They did not turn up to install the broadband. My internet access may end in a few days for an unknown period. I don't know what is going to happen about this.

Oh boy. How can they just not show up?

It's a mess! They've been mucking about for 5 weeks! Finally they said they were going to install last Tuesday; they didn't turn up. Then the installation manager said they would install on Wednesday - they didn't turn up.

I was then told that their credit dept. cancelled it. Everything, including my banking details, was packed up pending the workmen coming to drill and run cable and they'd been in the place once already - so my card had to be cancelled in case of identity theft...

One of the sales dept. finally told me that it was really because the flats are wired for analog cable. There is about to be a big switch to digital and they cannot get digital cable in here - so they can't do it. That might even be true. They also left part of their stuff here and I can't contact anyone with the authority to take it back.

Meanwhile, no broadband and dial-up barely working and due to stop any time now.

I would be losing my mind at the thought of losing internet access at home. I hope you manage to work something out!
