I smoked in fairly late in the day, tired, but glad to be back. Then I had to give Erynne the news.

It's just as well that she does trust me, I was so relieved that she wouldn't start worrying about this dimension's version of her family that I'm sure it showed. I wish I'd found out something about Lamia, though.

Not really. I was just completely on my own. They
classify Earth as a Helldimension and we get hazard
bonuses for Sunnydale. I had to ....

Ok ... yes ... it wasn't my favorite few months.... I
really did go to Hell to make a few contacts in that town - I mean in Sunnydale - but remind me to tell you about Hystalgia some time...

to send help? The portals to my dimension failed - I
lost contact with them back then. I thought it was
because the computer was down, but when I got it fixed
there was still nothing.

There wasn't anything I could do - except try to cope
around Sunnydale. Those people you call my friends -
well, I call some of them friends, too, but there are
neighbors where I come from who'd think they were
like ... well ...legendary monsters ... and Sunnydale gets it all... Hell-gods and slayers and all sorts.
This place is different and it was almost like
starting again, alone, and any mistake could be ...

Like I said, Sweet,I'm not the girl next door--
Yes,my family throw parties for newlyweds that
would be right up there with the Countess' gala,
but we have our own version of the ceremony
itself. Does involve some formalities--
more the Wiccan kind for my clan, than 'Traditional
Walk Down The Aisle' sort of thing.

We'd just need someone who's authorized
to perform legal marriages,and I have a couple
friends back home who could do it.
After that, it's "go and partaaaay!"

Bronze were being so...crude...because they
figured what's between us wasn't that
serious. "Real" to them does mean an engagement
or wedding ring...

That place was kinda small, though. Did they stock enough good stuff? I'd like the ring to really show up, you know? Or would a big one be in your way, or snag on things?

Why did we give Grant back his car so quickly? Maybe I should ask him to loan it to us again? I should make some more portal CDRs, too, then we could have the wedding where-ever and still have guests.
